2. What personal data we collect
When you request a quote through this page, we collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your postcode
- Any details you add in the message field about the work you need done
We also collect technical data automatically when you visit the page:
- IP address
- Device and browser type
- Pages viewed and time on page
- Click identifiers passed by the advertising platform that brought you here, such as a Google Click Identifier (gclid), Web Bidding Request ID (wbraid), Google Bidding Request ID (gbraid), or Microsoft Click ID (msclkid)
- Campaign source information from UTM parameters
- Cookie identifiers, where you have consented to non-essential cookies
3. Why we process your data and our lawful basis

4. How long we keep your data
We keep quote and enquiry data for as long as reasonably needed to respond, complete any resulting work, and meet our accounting, tax and insurance record-keeping obligations, and then delete or anonymise it. Where you have not proceeded with a quote, we keep the enquiry for a limited period to allow follow up before deleting it. Cookie and analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the relevant platform, typically no longer than 14 months for Google Analytics.
5. Who we share your data with
We share personal data with the following categories of recipient, and with no one else, except where the law requires it:
- Automation and enquiry routing. We use an automation platform (Zapier) to route your quote request from this page into our scheduling and customer systems. The platform processes the data on our instructions and does not use it for its own purposes.
- Customer relationship management. Your enquiry and, if you become a customer, your job history are stored in our customer management system so we can manage the relationship and any ongoing work.
- Advertising and analytics providers. Google acts as both an advertising platform (Google Ads) and an analytics provider (Google Analytics) for this page. Google receives technical and click identifier data described in section 2, which it uses to measure advertising performance and site usage. Where you have consented to non-essential cookies, this includes cookie based measurement. Where you have not yet chosen, or have rejected cookies, Google tags run in a cookieless mode (Google Consent Mode) that sends limited signals without setting cookies or using persistent identifiers, which Google may use to produce aggregated, modelled statistics.
- Professional advisers and authorities. Where necessary for accounting, tax, insurance claims, or where we are required to by law or a valid request from a regulator or law enforcement.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
6. International transfers
Some of the providers named above, including Google, may process data outside the UK and European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the provider's participation in an approved transfer mechanism, such as the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure your data continues to receive an equivalent standard of protection.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Ask us to delete your data, where there is no good reason for us to keep processing it
- Ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including for direct marketing at any time
- Ask us to transfer your data to another organisation, in certain circumstances
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew it
